March 10 Meeting Reminders:
> Sick Policy
A biggie! Since this is the sick season, just a friendly reminder about our sick policy. This is applicable to moms and our meeting time as well :) A good guideline - If you have a sick child and he/she is too sick to bring to MOPPETS, this probably means that he/she is too sick to bring to our meetings as well. Please be respectful to other moms - let's keep the table areas a "mom zone" allowing moms to have a break!

Children who are showing signs of illness must remain at home. Please do not bring sick children with you during the MOPS session. Here are a few guidelines to follow to determine whether your child is too sick to bring to MOPPETS:

- Nasal discharge other than clear within 24 hours
- Fever, rash, diarrhea, vomiting within 24 hours
- Cough within 24 hours
- Discharge from eyes within 24 hours

If in doubt, check with your pediatrician. The MOPPETS Coordinator will notify the mother to pick up their child if the child develops symptoms of illness while at MOPPETS. If your child develops a communicable illness (such as strep throat, pink eye, etc.), please notify the MOPPETS Coordinator so we can notify others and clean rooms accordingly.

> Swap Table
There will no longer be a swap table. Please start saving your items for the Garage Sale on April 4th! More details on the Garage Sale to come.

> MOPPETS Check In Change for Toddlers and Nursery Rooms
Please check in your toddler and/or infant around the back of the building. This will make the check in process smoother and alleviate the noise and congestion around the meeting area. Signs will be posted as a reminder.

See ya there!
This Fall (So Far) with Kailua MOPS

This year at MOPS has been full of fun, learning, relaxing, and getting to know other moms. We've discovered we have a lot in common (whether it be the fact we both have spit-up stains on our shirts or a love for the same book), we've laughed a lot, shared some wonderful food, and worked together to send Christmas presents to children in tough situations. And it's still just October! We can't wait to see what the rest of the year holds!

MOPPETS
Thanks to Vanessa and her super staff of childcare workers, our kids are given a wonderful place to play, learn and grow as we enjoy our time together.

Infants
The infant room is always a sweet place full of cuddles and gummy smiles. The babies nap, snack, play, and snuggle with their dear 'aunties'.

Toddlers!
Though sometimes a little reluctant to leave mom, the toddlers soak up all the love and excellent care they receive at MOPPETS. These little ones are so full of sweetness and joy! (even if they do rarely sit still! :)

Preschool Fun!
The children are given all sorts of opportunities to learn and grow, relax and refresh, just like their moms. They especially love the cool crafts, and of course, snack time!
